Along side the recipes I have included a very rudimentary guide as to which of the four seasons each dish falls into (some will straddle 2 or 3, even all of our four seasons). Within reason, I have not included foreign seasons of vegetables that we grow here ourselves as , personally, I don’t care to eat tomatoes, strawberries & asparagus in Winter or a suet pudding in summer. Of course lemons and exotic things such as bananas & pineapples I have purposefully overlooked. I hope this seasonal search engine is useful. For more precision please see the seasonal calendars.
